The City Councy of Morell is working to start, at the beginning of 2021, a new study of air quality which will be carried out by the TecnATox and the the Laboratory of the Center for the Environment (LCMA) from UPC.
Our role will be focused on the collection of air samples and the determination of the levels of arsenic, cadmium, chromium, nickel, lead and vanadium associated with PM10 particles. Subsequently, we will assess the possible health risks associated with its exposure by the local population.

Dr. Luis Heredia will take part of the activities organized in the framework of the II Mental Health Month entitled "Mental Health, a priority more than ever".
He will participate in the round table "Learning to live safely in the pandemic: current situation and future challenges". He will talk about the studies about mental health that have been performed, and the role of the environmental problems on the mental health. In addition, he will give some tips to overcome this situation.
