The coastal area is the ecosystem that provides the most services to the majority of the population, which is largely concentrated around it, while also being the setting for most economic activity.

The aim of the workshop, organized by the TecnATox research group from Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Secció de la Societat Catalana de Biologia a Catalunya sud, is to gain as diverse and comprehensive a view as possible of the current situation of the Tarragona coastal area, while also formulating sustainability initiatives that are agreed upon by the various sectors involved.
