EuroMix project is arriving to the end. Dr. Vikas Kumar, Dr. Margarita Torrente, Neus González and Elga Schreiber will attend to the final consortium meeting. It will be held in Egmond aan Zee from April 9th to 11th 2019.
EuroMix (euromixproject.eu) has been a joint effort of 22 European partners and 4 non-EU affiliated partners aimed at delivering a mixture test strategy and test instruments using novel techniques as recently proposed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. TecnATox has been actively involved in the project, participating in animal experimentation studies, PBPK modeling, exposure assessment and risk evaluation.

The presentation of Test Barcelona-2and the Online Neuropsychological Workstation will take place in Barcelona (Mar Teaching Unit, 80 Dr. Aiguader) on May 16th and 17th 2019. The workshop "Neuropsychological exploration: technological and conceptual advances" focuses on the impact of advances in cognitive neuroscience and Internet technologies in the neuropsychological clinic, and specifically in the new version of the Barcelona Test.
In the framwork of this event, Dr. Margarita Torrente, codirector of Neuropsychology and emotions area of TecnATox, will perform a presentation entitled: "The scale of daily life activities of Test Barcelona". You can find the full program here.

Prof. Francisco García, researcher of the area of Toxicology and medical examiner at the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Catalonia, will attend the 22th Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Association of Forensic Doctors and the Legal Medicine School. For a cleaner and healthier air in Kathmandu, The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and World Health Organization (WHO) – Nepal organized “Introductory Training on Health Impact Assessment/Health Economics and Data Analysis Workshop”, a five-day session with 35 representatives from different government agencies working on air quality and related experts, from national and international government organizations, academia, hospitals and representatives from Government of Maldives and WHO offices (HQ, SEARO, India, and Nepal country offices). Dr. Joaquim Rovira, expert in atmospheric pollution of TecnATox, joined the course as a WHO external assessor. You can find more information in the WHO press release.
