Two researchers of TecnATox, Dr. Montse Marquès and Prof. José L. Domingo, have just published, in collaboration of investigators of the Unit of Nutrition at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, a very interesting review on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). This paper, available at Environmental Research, was aimed at performing a systematic review and meta-analysis of population studies exploring whether human male exposure to EDCs affects male fertility.
The authors highlighted that there is a high disparity among currently available studies, making difficult to draw conclusions on the potential harmful effects of EDCs on male fertility. Consequently, to delineate the potential relationship that EDCs can have on male fertility, an important condition stressing the health system, further investigations are required.

On 24-25 of November, was held the last TPM of the SEEDS project in Assen (Netherlands). The meeting was an opportunity to share the feedback received during the Multiplier Events organized in Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Romania, Italy and Austria and discuss the plan for the sustainability of the project outputs.
The Erasmus + KA2 Strategic partnership for Vocational Education and Training project “SEEDS - Substance of circular Economy concept as Efficacious Determinant for the development of Successful entrepreneurship” will arrive to its end the next week, on the 30th of November 2022. During the last two years, the partnership has worked to develop an m-learning solution for startuppers and a Recognition and validation tool.
The SEEDS m-learning solution for startuppers is a mobile-based environment delivering courses on Circular Economy, aimed to enable startuppers to develop their vocational skills in the area of sustainable growth, a crucial factor in today’s entrepreneurship reality. There 6 main topics implemented by the SEEDS m- learning solution:
➢ Module 1: Use waste as a resource,
➢ Module 2: The reuse of water from wastewater treatment plants,
➢ Module 3: Design for the future,
➢ Module 4: Rethink the business model for sustainable development,
➢ Module 5: Incorporate digital technology for sustainable development,
➢ Module 6: Effective and sustainable product labeling.
The SEEDS recognition and validation tool is created to work in the area of recognition and validation of competences acquired through the participation in non-formal training courses on Circular Economy related aspects, and their implementation in day-to-day activities of startuppers.
Both project results are now ready and available free of charge, in English, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Polish and German, on the project online platform: https://seeds.erasmus.site/
